Entertainment in Video have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Semi-Pro on 16th June 2008. Will Ferrell stars in Semi-Pro, an outrageous comedy set in 1976 against the backdrop of the maverick ABA - a fast-paced, wild and crazy basketball league that rivaled the NBA and made a name for itself with innovations like the three-point shot and slam dunk contest. Ferrell plays Jackie Moon, a one-hit wonder who used the profits from the success of his chart-topping song "Love Me Sexy" to achieve his dream of owning a basketball team. But Moon's franchise, the Flint Michigan Tropics, is the worst team in the league and in danger of folding when the ABA announces its plans to merge with the NBA.

If they want to survive, Jackie and the Tropics must now do the seemingly impossible - win.

Available in single-disc (£19.99 RRP) and two-disc (£24.99) editions, the latter includes the following extras:

I just want to thank Gertie, Sam (THANKS SO MUCH), and Tathy for helping Will Ferrell Fan finally launch our brand new multimedia vault! You no longer have to download videos onto your harddrive in order to watch it, now you can watch it on the server and even copy the embed code onto other websites. And as a reminder, the "Night of Too Many Stars" Autism Benefit Concert is on April 13 which is hosted by Jon Stewart. Expected appearances by Will Arnett, Tom Brokaw, Matthew Broderick, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Susie Essman, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, Kevin James, Conan O’Brien, Rosie O’Donnell, Amy Poehler, Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Triumph The Insult Comic Dog, Kelsey Grammer, Ben Stiller, Maroon 5, The Roots and many more.

On April 15, the said event will be up for download in iTunes and the $1.99 downloads will go to charity. The day before that, the Comedy Central website will be streaming the event where users could also donate to charity through there. So don't forget to watch it on April 13, at 8 P.M. ET.

With the actors' contracts expiring on June 30, movies are being rushed to completion to avoid incomplete movies amidst a possible strike. Will Ferrell's movie, "Land of the Lost" is going to be affected. Let's hope there won't even be a strike in the first place!

In the lighter side of news, here's a video of a live duet by Will and Dave Grohl where they perform their own version of "Leather and Lace" at a recent benefit show for 826LA.

We've got some Ferrell news here. First off, Comedy Central is holding up its comedy show for the benefit of autism education entitled "Night of Too Many Stars", hosted by Jon Stewart. There will be live performances, sketches and short films by numerous comedy stars... Will's there, of course! It will be on April 13 at 8 PM at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. You can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster and the Beacon Theatre website. Don't worry if you can't come! It's going to air live on Comedy Central.

As for interviews, we've got one news piece with the Cornwall Standard Freeholder

And just a tidbit, Will Ferrell is going to be a part of a 'Why I Love TODAY' promo campaign for The TODAY Show so watch out for that.

And over at the TV Feeds My Family blog, there was a poll that asked who should host the next Academy Awards and Will Ferrell led the poll with 18% with Billy Crystal (15%) and Gary Busey (13%) not too far behind. Well, imagine that!

Now as you've all heard, Semi-Pro flopped. The good news from it is that it was #1 in theatres with $15.3 M. Still, it wasn't strong enough to be considered a hit. Sorry, Will. Better luck next time!

But it's time to look at the future because now you can see the official trailer of Step Brothers on the Sony Pictures website. This movie re-unites Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly and we simply can't wait for it! Mark your calendars. July 25.

There's a Semi Pro fever right now everywhere from the internet world to the world of television. First off, there's a YouTube account for the movie where you can view around 50 videos related to Semi Pro. Yes, it also has the official 'Love Me Sexy' music video.

Also, Will Ferrell was a guest on Late Night with Conan O' Brien last February 26. The interview started out normally... until the pants came off. If it is available in your area, you can view the full episode on NBC.com.

And in local news, MSN.com put up movie stills from Semi Pro. Some you've seen already, others you haven't. They're all up in the gallery.
